Mission

The Sub-Saharan Drug Abuse Research and Consultancy Center is a newly established non-profit and multi-dimensional drug research and consultancy center dedicated to conducting scientific analyses on the impact of international drug trafficking narcoscapes on Sub-Saharan Africa. The attendant  drug abuse and criminal activity have posed added burdens on the public health and criminal justice systems of these countries, creating threats to good governance. In addition, the center advocates drug policy reform in Sub-Saharan Africa and offers expert consulting services that include guidance on social research methods, data analysis, and literature review. It also conducts workshops on drug abuse for public workers, youth at risk, local communities, and churches in Ghana, especially Greater Accra region.
